About Chris
As the founder of Artpreneur—a platform supporting artists and creative entrepreneurs—Chris Davies has made it his business to connect artists with art industry decision-makers, audiences and collectors for more than a decade. Chris is also the founder of Fabrik Projects, a contemporary art gallery, and Fabrik Media, publisher of Fabrik Magazine and select limited edition art books. In addition, Chris produces Fabrik Expo and Photo Independent, two artist-oriented art fairs.
Originally from Australia, Chris relocated to Los Angeles in 1988. In the past 30 years, he has made a living as a musician, studio engineer, graphic designer, event and festival producer, design and marketing agency owner, publisher and gallery owner.
He coaches what he calls ‘artpreneurs’ — artists and creative entrepreneurs who are trying to build and grow their art brand and platform.
Recognizing that the life of a 21st Century Artpreneur can be extremely challenging, Chris is on a mission to help you establish a platform, build your art brand, raise your visibility and accomplish your creative goals.
